Toyota Motor Corp. launched Toyota Prius hybrid version of the minivan by using lithium ion batteries and will available in next year. The Company will initially produce lithium ion batteries in Teiho Prefecture. But Toyota then changed his plans to produce batteries at the Panasonic EV Energy Co, a joint venture with Panasonic Battery Corp. Hyundai introduced the i-Flow concept and they call it a preview for future D-segment. i-Flow uses the diesel engine Hyundai's first hybrid powertrain. U2 i-Flow has a 1.7L engine turbo engine combined with electric motor power lithium-ion batteries. Like Blue concept unveiled at Frankfurt will Auto Show, i-Flow exhaust recycle the heat and use it to power additional systems. Nissan Maxim first appeared in U.S in Michelin Challenge Design at  the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, January 11 - 24, 2010 ago.
