Toyota Motor Corp. launched Toyota Prius hybrid version of the minivan by using lithium ion batteries and will available in next year. The Company will initially produce lithium ion batteries in Teiho Prefecture. But Toyota then changed his plans to produce batteries at the Panasonic EV Energy Co, a joint venture with Panasonic Battery Corp. Nissan Maxim first appeared in U.S in Michelin Challenge Design at  the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, January 11 - 24, 2010 ago.
