General Motors have been reported to join the other major motor manufacturers to produce a twin engine turbo six-cylinder. A direct injection 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine being developed to compete with Ford’s 3.5-liter that can produce 355 hp (265 kW / 360 PS) in the Ford Flex, Lincoln MKS and Lincoln MKT. Even in the Ford Taurus Sho, this engine can produce 365 hp (268kW / 370 PS).

GM’s latest engine with a capacity of 3.6 liter twin-turbo V6 power can produce 435 hp (324 kW / 441 PS). Later, this new machine will carry the code name of LF3.
