Ford will testing of new machines that have four-cylinder EcoBoost engine in the U.S. The technician uses a variant sporty Ford 2011 Ford Fiesta three-door hatchback.
Ford plans to introduce a new four-cylinder EcoBoost Fiesta engine, which indicates that the prototype machine is also equipped with direct injection technology. Machine is likely based on the regular 119-horsepower 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine from the Ford Fiesta in 2011, but with the help of EcoBoost output should be closer to 170 horsepower mark.
Ford Fiesta ST previous generation sold abroad is equipped with 2.0-liter Duratec engine and produces 148 horsepower, so the 2011 model is expected to offer few advantages. EcoBoost 2011 Ford Fiesta made its debut in the end of the years, probably in 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
