2011 New Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4, Diesel and Electric

New Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4 is unique hybrid car because using diesel engine and electric motor, not petrol engine and electric motor. This car combines a 2.0-liter turbo diesel powering front wheels and an electric motor driving the rear axle. The turbo diesel engine can produce up to 163 horsepower while the electric motor can produce max 37 horsepower. So, the total output is 200 horsepower and the max torque is 500 Nm.

Fuel consumption of this car just 3.8lt/100km (equal to 61.9mpg US or 74.4mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of only 99g/km and the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h just in 8.8 seconds and the top speed is 209km/h. This car will be sale in spring of 2011.
