Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is an annual competition held by the Sports Car Club of America. Delage D8S managed to beat two other major competitors, 1930 Duesenber J Graber Cabriolet owned by Sam Mann and the 1929 Bentley Speed Six Park Ward Open Two-Seater owned by Arturo Keller. Both is the strongest competitor for two years earlier had won the same title in same event. Delage D8S De Villars Roadster originaly introduced at Paris Car Show 1934. One of the owners of this car is Lerroux Aurelio, son of Prime Minister of the Spanish in 1940.
