Michelin Tire for Ferrari 599 GTO

Michelin produce special tires for Ferrari 599 GTO (Gran Turismo Omologato). Michelin announced on Tuesday (11/5). Michelin tires will produce only 2.396 to Ferrari 599 GTO of the Italian car manufacturer, so it’s limited edition tires.

Michelin developed a special tire by working with Ferrari since 18 months ago. This tire size of 285/30 ZR 20 for the front and 315/35 ZR 20 for the rear. The weight only 10 kg for front tire and the rear only 15kg. Michelin says this tire provides two benefits; besides reducing weight will help control the car, this tire will also help reduce fuel consumption and carbon emission.

Michelin tire designed for the Ferrari 599 GTO has a rolling resistance up to 20 percent better than similar tires so, can reduction of CO2 emissions up to 7 grams / km.
