A new record created by one of the world’s rarest classic cars, Bugatti 57SC Atlantic made in 1936. In the auction held by Gooding & Company sold out more than $30 million. However, the buyer identity is a secret.
Bugatti 57SC so special because it produced only four units in the world and certainly even fewer could survive. Two units are owned by world designer Ralph Lauren and the late Dr. Peter Williamson. So, stay there two more units in the world.
Atlantic developed from the Aerolithe Electron Coupe prototype by Bugatti and make amazed in the Paris Auto Salon 1935 event. Then, the Italian car manufacturer produces three units of the Atlantic with different characteristics between one and another. However, the existing model is the first version was produced in 1936 so it has great historical value.
