2010 Citroen Metropolis Concept Dual Clutch

French Manufacturers launch 2010 Citroen Metropolis, the concept car of premium sedan with environmentally friendly technologies. Maintaining a balance between driving comfort with environmental preservation. Combining hybrid technology that uses 2.0-liter V6 engine, electric motor and transmission 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox electronic.

According to Citroen, at low speed, Metropolis run using Zero Emission Vehicle mode (Zev), with the electric motor produces 55bhp (40kW), a maximum 95bhp (70 kW). At normal speed (road conditions), using a gasoline engine that produces 272bhp (200kW) and 375Nm of torque. And at high speeds, this car will use the electric
motor and combustion engine to produce maximum power up to 460bhp (345kW).

Metropolis also have four-wheel drive mode. By providing a comfortable riding experience as well as shockproof, Citroen using Hydractive suspension, which can reduce the shock of rough roads and to improve the performance of Metropolis.
